More on the Roman Polanski debate
2. The New York Times reported another revealing nugget. Apparently there was a civil suit by the child victim of Polanski’s crime. In 1993 Polanski agreed to settle that claim for “at least” half a million dollars. Court records disclose that as of 1996, the payment was not made, and the victim was still attempting to collect, the Times noted.
How can there be any question that Polanski should be subjected to the judgment and sentence of the California court system?
