Too cold to snow?

It’s ironic that a mere nine months since the passing of this legislation, our nation’s capital is witnessing and suffering through the third record snowstorm of this winter season. Our recent and current snowy blizzard conditions are consistent with a decade-long cooling trend.

Fortunately, our Founding Fathers structured a legislative system that requires an inordinate amount of time to enact legislation. Recent events have more than indicated that Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) rush to impose cap-and-trade cost on the American people would have levied a substantial financial burden on them without resulting in the intended benefit of reducing global warming.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the slow-moving process in the U.S Senate, which halted Pelosi’s out-of-control locomotive rushing to become a disastrous energy policy on we the people.
