The government shutdown against ObamaCare is dead

This will be obvious before Congress returns from the August recess and will be formally decided within days of Congress returning, possibly hours. 

{mosads}Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), by supporting the shutdown, has chosen the wrong limb to climb out on. This limb will soon be cut off. Behind the scenes, Democrats are ecstatic that Cruz and Rubio and the right wing of House Republicans are pushing the shutdown. In truth they privately worry about the politics of healthcare, but are overjoyed with the Republican overreach that will help Obama the same way a previous shutdown play helped President Clinton against the hapless Newt Gingrich in the 1990s. 

Ted Cruz parades across Iowa seeking to lead the extremist wing of Republicans. Democrats love this. 

Rick Santorum joins the presidential fray yet again. Democrats love this, too. 

What better way to prove to voters that the GOP war against women continues. Donald Trump returns to center stage in GOP national politics and Democrats are happier than the winner of the $400 million lottery! In the meantime, the government shutdown idea is dead.
