Scott Brown’s tough row to hoe
And this week, as Tea Partiers across the nation celebrate the first
anniversary of the anti-tax, anti-government, anti-bailout, anti-deficit,
anti-debt, anti-Obama movement, Brown is not attending a Boston Tea Party
headlined by movement darling Sarah Palin. According to the Boston Herald, Brown won’t be able to break away from Senate business to attend. And the story
notes Brown — who was elected with strong Tea Party support on Jan. 19 —
has snubbed Palin before. “Shortly after his triumph, Brown denied
receiving a congratulatory call from Palin, only to remember the exchange
when pressed.”
It looks like Sen. Brown is going to have an interesting, and
challenging, two years.
