Ron Paul surges in two new polls, yet major media ignore this

In my continuing effort to give Ron Paul the attention he deserves,
which many in the media do not, I commend to readers’ attention two new
Bloomberg polls.

In the Bloomberg Iowa poll, Paul is essentially tied for first place. In
the Bloomberg New Hampshire poll, Paul is now a serious contender
for second place behind Romney.

By contrast, the collapsed campaign of Rick Perry, who receives far more
media attention than Ron Paul does, is scraping the bottom in the two
new Bloomberg polls.

Key points:

1.  I am not convinced that these polls will be followed by similar polls. They involve small samples with above-average margin of error. However:

2.  These two polls are from a highly credible news organization (Bloomberg) and they deserve to be taken seriously. We shall see if data from other polls confirms the Bloomberg suggestion of a Ron Paul surge. For now the polls were taken, the results are in, and it is shameful they are not receiving the major media attention they deserve.

3.  In general I suspect Ron Paul will perform better in real voting, especially caucus voting, than his poll numbers because of the devotion of his supporters.

4.  I also suspect the new polls could be the basis of a new super-duper-ultra-mega Ron Paul money-bomb success.

For now anyone who is a serious political analyst should take seriously, and report fairly, the Bloomberg poll showing the Ron Paul surge. Future polls will confirm or refute the Bloomberg numbers, but they should receive the attention they deserve, which is why I am writing these thoughts today.
