Ron Paul takes the gloves off against Newt Gingrich and scores

The very powerful new Internet video the Ron Paul campaign has launched
with an aggressive and authentic challenge to Newt Gingrich has now gone
viral. It is a direct hit. Ron Paul and his campaign video make a
mockery of Gingrich’s act as a Washington outsider and populist.

I would ask any Gingrich supporter to answer this: What kind of man says
supporters of Freddie Mac should go to jail, after he had taken more
than $1.5 million from Freddie Mac? Paul’s attack is so potent because
his message about Gingrich is true, and Ron Paul as messenger is
credible.

{mosads}Speaking of credible or not, it is unfortunate that President Obama’s campaign is wasting money attacking Mitt Romney. Obama needs to offer voters a vision of his presidency if he is reelected, not reduce himself to saying, “Vote for me, the other guy is worse.”

On the other hand, Bret Baier’s interview with Mitt Romney was tough but fair. If Romney becomes upset and petulant with Baier for asking entirely appropriate questions based on the public record, Romney will wilt like a flower in the desert when Barack Obama and his machine launch the real attack.

Meanwhile, Gingrich is now claiming credit for winning the Cold War. Huh? Perhaps Gingrich will thank Ronald Reagan for helping Gingrich bring down the Berlin Wall. Gingrich reminds me of Al Pacino playing the devil in the film “The Devil’s Advocate,” when Pacino said his favorite sin is vanity. Perhaps Newt will next claim credit for winning the Second World War. Newt could not have done it without Winston Churchill, right?

The Ron Paul video against Gingrich has scored. I cannot wait until the next debate when Ron Paul continues his offensive, Mitt Romney continues to get upset when anyone asks him to explain his flipping and flopping, Newt Gingrich continues his serial hypocrisy and Ron Paul calls his bluff live and on national television.

Herman who?
