It has begun — the permanent Hillary Clinton campaign.
Clinton is keeping her presidential campaign Web expert. But she has taken down any hostile references to Barack Obama on her website, leaving some fond memories of the good times. Team Hillary isn’t being shy about paying down the debt — big red signs that read “contribute” loom on the site for clicking, and the letter on the first page asks for help retiring campaign debt from a hard-fought primary.
In addition to contributing, you can read exactly two press releases about the death of Tim Russert and her exit speech on June 7. You can also read and hear about “The Hillary I Know,” watch some other nice videos and buy Hillary gear. When you go to the T-shirt page you are informed that you can make a contribution to Hillary’s Senate reelection campaign on the same site — convenient, but what’s the rush, since she’s not up until 2012 — right?
