Well, it was a fairly close-run thing, but 43 percent of you said that you’d prefer neither a Clinton-Obama nor an Obama-Clinton ticket on the Democratic side. (It is worth noting, however, that those of you who didn’t reject the notion out of hand would rather see the Illinois senator in the catbird seat; 34 percent of respondents put Obama first on the ticket, with just 23 percent preferring Hillary Clinton as commander in chief.)
Of course, with the recent flare-up over the role that super-delegates will or ought to play in this nomination battle, it might be a moot point anyway: The chances for either ticket becoming a possibility now look rather slim.
