Media Bias for Obama
As if to illustrate the accuracy of Rasmussen’s finding that 49 percent of voters believe reporters are biasing their stories to help Barack Obama (as opposed to 14 percent who said they were helping McCain and 24 percent who said they had no bias), comes The New York Times‘s decision to reject John McCain’s rebuttal op-ed to Obama’s printed article on Iraq.
The Times only wants to print the news that fits its editorial viewpoint, and this latest example exposes its bias for the world to see. At the same time that the print media is so openly rooting for Obama, the three television anchors are accompanying the Democratic candidate to Iraq and Afghanistan, giving him a fawning coverage that they would never give to any other politician at any other time. Even when the president visits these countries, the anchors stay at home. Their decision to become camp followers of Obama shows their lack of integrity and of independence.
