Democrats add QR codes to office nameplates

{mosads}A QR code is a matrix barcode that can be scanned by smartphones and automatically open a link or provide digital information.

Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) also recently installed a QR code on the nameplate outside her office.

Both Democrats are looking to draw more constituents to a central, online location: an official congressional website. Typically, congressional websites include links to press releases from an individual member’s office, as well as their social media profiles such as Twitter and Facebook.
