{mosads}It is a bipartisan tradition for members of Congress to participate in the Red Cross’s Holiday Mail for Heroes program.
The Red Cross collects cards between October and early December to distribute at military installations, veterans hospitals and other locations to troops serving in the military.
Members of Congress participated in the same program last November. This year, Congress is getting their cards in just under the wire. The Red Cross deadline for receiving cards to distribute to the troops is Dec. 7.
