Illinois, Ohio congressmen wager treats on MAC Championship game

{mosads}Kent State (Ohio) faces Northern Illinois University in a Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship game.

Reps. Randy Hultgren (R-Ill.) and Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) both bet goodies from their respective districts that their team will win. Hultgren is wagering Graham’s Chocolate, from the Chicago suburb Geneva, Ill., that the Huskies can beat the Golden Flashes.

“I look forward to sampling the gift basket of gourmet goods from Kent’s local bakeries and the Kent Displays Boogie Board that Rep. Ryan will be sending from Ohio, because I know the Huskies are going to win tonight,” Hultgren said in a statement. “[Huskies] Coach Doeren and the team have had an outstanding year.”
