Gingrich: ‘I have an alibi,’ didn’t steal red panda
{mosads}The panda, Rusty, was reported missing from the zoo on Monday. Zoo gates were closed early Monday morning after he was not found in his enclosure at 7:30 a.m. The gates were reopened at around 9:45 a.m.
Gingrich’s tweet is not random. He has been open about his love for zoo animals and, when he was Speaker-elect, he gave one of his earliest interviews from the Atlanta Zoo in his home state of Georgia.
