Pelosi, Hoyer criticize GOP House schedule

Rep. Joe Courtney (D-Conn.) tweeted: “Are you kidding? Foreclosure crisis & 9% unemployment & GOP Congress schedules 3 full work days in January!”

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) released the 2012 schedule on Thursday morning, which has six days in January designated as workdays, but only three of them as full workdays.

Other than January, most of the other months have roughly nine days designated as a “D.C. Work Week.” The majority of the other days on the schedule are assigned as “Constituent Work Week,” when congressmen go home to their districts.
