GOP lawmaker unleashes frustration with D.C. exchange
Rep. Bill Flores (R-Texas) complained Saturday about the enrollment process for ObamaCare’s D.C. exchange in a series of tweets.
On Saturday afternoon after hours of trying to sign up for a health plan on D.C. Health Link, he said he was unsure if he had successfully enrolled.

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill and their staffers have until the end of Monday to enroll in a plan through D.C.’s exchange in order to continue receiving a federal subsidy toward their insurance.
Flores said he wound up printing “dozens of pages of error messages” and was forced to install a new browser because Microsoft’s Internet Explorer wasn’t working.

He then questioned why President Obama thinks the public will benefit from the healthcare law.

On Friday, an official who works for D.C. Health Link told The Hill thousands of members of Congress and their employees had already successfully selected a plan in the local exchange.
“Nearly half of those eligible have already completed their applications. More than a third have chosen their new health plan and have completed their enrollment. Most people did this online,” said Richard Sorian, director of communications, education and outreach.
Officials for the exchange will continue to offer training sessions and assistance at the Capitol through Monday to help enroll people.
