Gingrich approves singer Timberlake’s ode to the military

{mosads}Timberlake took time to write an ode to the military on his official blog, a position that likely resonates with Gingrich. The former House Speaker, a product of military upbringing, was among the candidates at the debate who endorsed the use of military action against a possible nuclear threat in Iran.

Timberlake wrote: “I’ve always been very vocal about my support of our Armed Forces. I’ve always felt like they offered us the opportunity to live our lives freely without the fear that so many other nations have to endure still to this day. And, they do it without asking for anything in return. I had this very feeling walking into this dinner.”

Gingrich, who surged on Monday to the lead in some polls of the Republican field, has also spoken regularly about his love of movies. Timberlake is a singing artist also known for his role in films such as The Social Network.
