Speaker Boehner asks actor Rob Lowe for ‘Tonight Show’ advice
Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) asked actor Rob Lowe for advice Thursday for his appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
Boehner asked Lowe, known for his role on “The West Wing,” how he should prepare for the interview scheduled for Thursday night.
Hey @RobLowe, going on #TonightShow w/ @jayleno. Any advice?

While it’s unclear why Boehner asked Lowe for advice, the actor has been a guest on the show at least half a dozen times.
Lowe and his son, Matthew, also paid Boehner a visit to his leadership office last May.

The younger Lowe interned for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) in 2011, and currently studies at Duke University.
Boehner may also be seeking Lowe’s advice because Leno could potentially dig up some skeletons. On one of Lowe’s appearances, Leno played rare footage of Lowe’s role on a show that never went to air called “Mean Jeans.”
