Dems to GOP: ‘Don’t be a Grinch’

{mosads}Obama on Wednesday in Pennsylvania pressured Republicans to pass the extension of the payroll tax cuts and unemployment benefits, both set to expire at the end of the year and both included in the American Jobs Act.

“Send your senators a message,” he said, crediting the “Christmas spirit” with making him want to give Congress “another chance” to pass components of the defeated bill.

“Tell them: Don’t be a Grinch. Don’t be a Grinch. Don’t vote to raise taxes on working Americans during the holidays,” he said. “I want to give them a chance to redeem themselves.”
