Biden is an alumnus of Syracuse University’s law school, and has been a major booster of its basketball team. Biden delivered the university commencement speech in 2009.
On Wednesday night, Ennis made a three-point shot from 35 feet away from the basket with 4.4 seconds left in the game.
Syracuse won the game, 58-56, against Pitt, a top rival to Syracuse. This marked Syracuse’s 24th win this season. The team is undefeated.
