NRCC looks for votes from ‘Game of Thrones’ fans
“Winter is coming” is a commonly used phrase in the series, a popular HBO show based on books by George R.R. Martin. The HBO show, which just completed its second season, used the phrase as one of its taglines.

The HBO series recently riled some Republicans when show runners revealed that a prosthetic head modeled after former GOP President George W. Bush was used in one scene. HBO apologized and promised to pull the scene from the episode in future releases.
