Nickelodeon stars visit the White House
Alexander, a spokesman for first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” anti-childhood obesity initiative, stars on “iCarly.” The first lady once made an appearance on the Nickelodeon show. The band from the Nickelodeon show “Big Time Rush” also performed at the dinner. Kendall Schmidt, who plays Kendall Knight in the band, tweeted that it was a “weird” day but he felt “honored.”
So today was weird.Had a convo with the President and First Lady, then played the first Official Kids State Dinner ever!

During President Obama’s surprise visit to the East Room following the salad course, he told the audience that he can only cook a few things well, such as omelets, toast and chili.
But according to later tweets from partner organization Epicurious, some of the kids wanted to know if Obama daughters Malia and Sasha had picked up any kitchen skills.
Sam Kass: “Sasha and Malia like to cook, sure. They’ve got some skills, those two.”
