President Obama became the most high-profile politician yet to use reddit, holding an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) chat on Wednesday that briefly crashed the site. The transcript of the AMA has drawn more than 4 million visitors, according to reddit.

Ohanian, who co-founded the site in 2005, said the White House set up the president’s AMA once Obama’s staff reached a “critical mass of redditors in the White House as well as in the reelection campaign.”
