Olympian McKayla Maroney jokes she looked ‘not impressed’ with Obama
{mosads}The 16-year-old Maroney became associated with the particular expression, which turned into an Internet meme, following NBC coverage of the London Olympics.
The U.S. women’s gymnastics team, known as the “fierce five,” visited the White House on Thursday. They met with the president before he left to tour storm damage from Hurricane Sandy in New York.
The five girls — Maroney, Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross, Aly Raisman, and Jordyn Wieber — also signed leotards for Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha while they were at the White House, according to Fox Sports.
Judging by other tweets from the girls’ trip to the Oval Office, they were actually quite impressed by the visit.
Raisman tweeted that three of the girls had to touch up their hair and makeup in the airport bathroom before their visit, and Wieber tweeted a photo of some of the girls in the car on their way to the White House.
Hair & makeup in the airport bathroom with @gabrielledoug & @jordyn_wieber getting ready for the white house! LOL

Douglas tweeted a photo from the group on the drive.
