Stuck in DC, Midwestern lawmakers tweet about snow back home
Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) noted that the District is still enjoying mild weather, despite the nearness of Christmas.

{mosads}Just in time for the first day of winter on Friday, the storm dumped snow on Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas and Hartzler’s homestate of Missouri.
Many lawmakers from those states urged constituents to use caution due to the weather, especially if traveling, in tweets on Thursday.
