Michelle Obama ‘proud’ of Beyoncé halftime performance
{mosads}It’s not the first time Michelle and Beyoncé have used social media to display some mutual admiration. In April of last year, the singer posted a note to the first lady on her Tumblr page calling her “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.” The pop star went on to say she was “proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”
During the campaign, Beyoncé and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, hosted and performed at campaign fundraisers for the president’s reelection effort.
