The VMAs eventually turned around with a performance from Justin Timberlake doing a mash-up of his own songs, and the long-awaited reunion with his band mates from ’90s pop group ‘N Sync.

One congressman, Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.), chimed in on Twitter.

Deutch’s tweet received nearly 300 retweets, and almost 200 favorites.

He appears to be the only member of Congress who tweeted about the awards show.
