Nick Jonas takes the mic
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) has made the announcement everyone has been waiting for.
She tweeted:

As the Briefing Room reported last week, Nick Jonas was scheduled to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee about possible cures for Type I diabetes. Jonas, one of the three members of the tween pop group “The Jonas Brothers,” was diagnosed with Type I diabetes three years ago at the age of 13. Collins tweeted earlier that former welterweight boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard had also testified at the hearing.
