Ellison: ‘There’s no place like home’
Upon his return from an African trip, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) pulled a line right from the Wizard of Oz.
He tweeted Thursday:
Niarobi: Mpls next. Praises! Not that I don’t love Africa. Khartoum, Darfur, Juba, Niarobi, Kisumu, Dadaab, but there’s no place like home.
Ellison traveled to the continent to discuss human rights and health issues in Sudan and Kenya. The war-torn Darfur region was among his stops.
Now that his journey is complete, unlike Dorothy, he won’t have to click his heels three times to get back home:
