Sestak campaign creates ‘Students for Sestak’ Twitter

Rep. Joe Sestak’s (D-Pa.) Senate campaign expanded its presence on Twitter, creating an account for one of its outreach groups.

His campaign’s official Twitter shared a link to a new account for “Students for Sestak:”

@students4sestak made its first tweet on Tuesday:

Welcome to the official Students for Sestak twitter! Follow us, and stay in the loop as we gear up for the 2010 Democratic Primary.

The “students” account has 5 followers thus far. The group’s website says it is “dedicated to coordinating support in high schools and colleges across Pennsylvania on behalf of Congressman Joe Sestak in his run for U.S. Senate.”

Sestak faces incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) in the primary.
