Schwarzenegger: I am ‘very grateful’ to have known Shriver
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger remembered his recently deceased mother-in-law, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, tweeting that he was “grateful” to have known her and was “inspired by her:”
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am in Massachusetts, feeling very grateful to have known Eunice and to have been inspired by her.
Schwarzenegger is married to Eunice Kennedy Shriver’s daughter, Maria Shriver. The sister of former President John F. Kennedy passed away early on Tuesday at the age of 88. Kennedy Shriver was also known for founding the Special Olympics.
