• The State Department awarded Stanley Associates Inc., a subsidiary of
CGI Federal, $74.6 million in two “task orders” to assist the
department in processing visa applications. The first, worth $50.4
million “over two base years and four option years, is for citizen and
immigrant visa application processing and services in India.” The other
is worth $24.2 million “over one base year and four option years [and]
covers the introduction of the Global Support Strategy program at U.S.
embassies and consulates in Poland, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Ukraine,
Georgia, Moldova and Romania.” The contract with the company is one of
many lasting 10 years.
• The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency awarded Honeywell a $9.3 million modification to a contract to “design, develop and deliver a demonstration of a gyroscope with a goal capability of absolute reference navigation in a compact, four-diameter optically integrated gyro-head.” Work will be completed by Aug. 5, 2013.
{mosads}• The National Institutes of Health has awarded STG Inc. a contract worth up to $20 billion to support the “Federal and Department of Defense Enterprise and Health Architectures.” The contract “allows for streamlined planning, acquisition and deployment of large-scale IT program requirements.” It is a long-term contract lasting 10 years.
• The Navy awarded QinetiQ North America Inc. a $9.9 million contract for the “design and integration of manned and unmanned craft systems.” The company will provide “engineering and technical management support on all programs and projects” that are related to the craft development. The Navy has also awarded Gibbs & Cox Inc. a $10.8 million contract for similar work.
