Romney adviser joins law and lobby firm
{mosads}McKenna Long has a substantial lobbying practice, having earned more than $2.6 million in lobbying fees last year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Kaufman was a senior adviser to Romney on the former Massachusetts governor’s 2012 presidential campaign.
Kaufman has long been a top GOP political operative, holding several top positions in the party and the White House. He was the Republican National Committee’s national political director under former President Reagan and White House political director for former President George H.W. Bush.
Kaufman is also a well-known name on K Street. He became a prominent lobbyist at Dutko Worldwide, which later became Dutko Grayling.
