Top GOP House aide goes to K Street

Kiko has lobbied before as a member of Foley and Lardner’s public affairs group. He also worked for the House Judiciary Committee, holding positions including chief of staff and general counsel, and working on the Patriot Act and legislation dealing with immigration reform and patent reform. 

Kiko has also been chief of staff for Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.), along with other positions on Capitol Hill.

The Smith-Free Group has a solid lobbying practice, making almost $5.9 million in lobbying fees for 2012, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. The firm represented blue-chip companies last year, such as Bank of America, MasterCard and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
