• Anna-Maria Schneider has joined Volkswagen Group of America as director of industry-government relations. Most recently Schneider served as vice president of government and industry affairs at Toyota Motor North America .
 
• Christine Bechtel has joined the National Partnership for Women & Families as vice president. Bechtel was previously vice president of the eHealth Initiative and before that, a senior research adviser at AARP .

{mosads}• Steve Rauschenberger has joined the National Security Institute as managing director of the legislative practice. Rauschenberger is a former member of the Illinois state Senate and was previously president of the National Conference of State Legislators .

 • Pamela Keeton has joined Burson-Marsteller as managing director of its public affairs practice. Keeton, an Army Reserve public affairs officer, headed the military coalition’s communications in Afghanistan during the first Afghan presidential election. Most recently she served as an executive at Boeing .
 
• Michael Scrivner and Norman Lent are joining Dow Lohnes Government Strategies (DLGS) as executive vice presidents. Peter Leon is also joining DLGS as vice president. Scrivner is a former founding partner of Lent, Scrivner & Roth (LS&R), and before that served as then-Rep. Norman Lent’s (R-N.Y.) chief of staff. Most recently of LS&R, Lent has also worked as an attorney at Dyer Ellis & Mills and as a legislative assistant to former Sen. Connie Mack III (R-Fla.). Leon previously worked on the staffs of Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.), former Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-Mass.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
 
• Yvonne Santa Anna has joined Fresenius Medical Care North America as vice president of congressional relations. Santa Anna was previously director of government affairs at the National Association of Home Care & Hospice .
