• Holly Bode, a former Clinton administration official, will join Washington Council Ernst & Young’s healthcare policy team. She joins the firm from UnitedHealthGroup, where she worked as vice president for federal government affairs. Bode previously was a director at BKSH & Associates. Prior to becoming a lobbyist, Bode was a legislative liaison for the Health and Human Services Department and a health policy analyst for Rep. Sandy Levin (D-Mich.).

{mosads}• Alan Rubin will join Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as director in its federal government relations section. Rubin’s clients include Clear Channel Communications and the city of Miami.

• Harry Wingo joined Google’s Washington office as a policy counsel. He will direct the search engine’s work on energy policy. He was previously the vice president of Current Group, which advocates for efficiency improvements to the nation’s electrical grid. From 2002-2005, Wingo was a legal adviser to the Federal Communications Commission. He is also a former Navy SEAL officer.

• Peter Van Hartesveldt is joining Nossaman as a partner in the firm’s expanding public policy law practice. Van Hartesveldt was most recently the acting deputy chief counsel on the House ethics committee. He will advise lobbyists, trade associations and corporate clients about the laws governing their interactions with Congress.

• Sandra Taylor is joining the Livingston Group as a strategic partner. Taylor is now president and CEO of Sustainable Business International. Her work for the Livingston Group will involve corporate social responsibility and congressional oversight. Previously, Taylor worked as an executive at Starbucks and was a vice president and director of public affairs for Eastman Kodak.

• Jennifer Zeitzer is joining the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology as the group’s director of legislative relations. Zeitzer previously held a similar position at the Alzheimer’s Association.
