• INSURANCE. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is lobbying for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. Judy Black, former special assistant to the president for intergovernmental affairs; Ellen Chube, former senior legislative assistant to then-Rep. Harold Ford (D-Tenn.); David Cohen, a former staffer on the House Banking and Financial Services Committee; and Teresa Dyer are lobbying for the insurance trade group.

• LOCAL GOVERNMENT. Miami Gardens, Fla., hired Alcalde & Fay to lobby on the upcoming transportation bill, federal lobbying records show.

• MISC. Blank Rome Government Relations is lobbying for North American Rescue, which provides emergency-services products. Tony Corwin, former inspector general of the Marine Corps, and Mark Holman, a former homeland security adviser to President George W. Bush, are lobbying for the company.

• TAXES. The Washington Tax Group is lobbying for Robert Bosch, an automotive parts and technology supplier. Gregory Nickerson, former tax counsel on the House Ways and Means Committee; Ellen McCarthy, former tax counsel on the Senate Finance Committee; and Noushin Jahanian, former policy director and chief counsel to Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), are lobbying for the company.
