Northrop chooses Virginia for new HQ

Northrop Grumman CEO Wes Bush announced earlier this year that his company would move headquarters from Los Angeles, Calif., to the capital region in part to be closer to its biggest customer: the Pentagon.

Northrop Grumman had considered the District of Columbia and Maryland as potential new homes for the new headquarters, but Virginia was ultimately selected.

Northrop has not yet decided on a specific building in Virginia but is in negotiations with several building owners in the Falls Church/Arlington area, CEO Bush announced in a press release Monday.

{mosads}”Our final decison was driven largely by facility considerations, proximity to our customers and overall economics,” Bush said.
