• Monument Policy Group added Stephanie Martz, who most recently served as senior counsel and special assistant to President Obama in the Office of White House Counsel, to its lobbying team. At the White House, Martz focused on cybersecurity and data privacy issues. Prior to that, she served as chief counsel to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).
• Jocelyn Moore has joined Glover Park Group as a managing director and will manage the firm’s health and wellness government relations practice. Moore comes from the Senate Finance Committee, where she served as deputy staff director for the Democrats. She previously served as a deputy chief of staff and policy director to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and as legislative director to former Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W. Va.).
{mosads}• Neil Quinter, chief counsel to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), has joined law and lobby firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. Quinter comes to the firm after working stints for Feinstein and the Senate Judiciary Committee since 1995. In between, he served as a partner at McDermott Will & Emery. Quinter was also elected to the Maryland House of Delegates and served in the statehouse from 2003 to 2007.
• Mike Collins, who worked with Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) for 15 years, is leaving Capitol Hill to join Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas. He most recently served as Udall’s chief of staff, but has also held other policy and campaign positions.
• Crossroads Strategies hired Elizabeth Hart, who most recently served as the chief of staff to Rep. John Carney (D-Del.). Hart has also worked as the top aide to former Reps. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.) and Baron Hill (D-Ind.).
• Adam Williams, a former media relations manager at APCO Worldwide, has become a senior account supervisor at public affairs firm MSLGroup, serving in its Washington office.
• DuPont has named Karis Gutter as a government affairs manager within the company. Gutter previously worked as the deputy undersecretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services and, before that, served as both senior adviser to the secretary of Agriculture and as deputy administrator for field operations of USDA’s Farm Service Agency. Gutter also served as deputy chief of staff and legislative director to Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.), and as a professional staff member to the House Homeland Security Committee.
• Squire Patton Boggs has brought on Aaron Knights as a principal in the firm’s global litigation practice in Washington. He comes from Kalbian Hagerty LLP. In addition to litigation and regulatory work, he also advises “foreign governments, high net-worth individuals, and both US-based and multi-national companies.”
