{mosads}• Brendon Deltoro has been named the vice president for political strategy at iHeartMedia and will serve as a liaison with conservative candidates, parties, super-PACs and political organizations. He most recently served as the campaign manager for Rep. Marlin Stutzman’s (R-Ind.) Senate bid.
• The American Trucking Association hired Mike Joyce as senior vice president of legislative affairs. Prior to that he worked for PACCAR, an allied member of the group. He also has Capitol Hill experience, having worked for former Rep. Bud Shuster (R-Pa.) and Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), the chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
• Michael Hanson left the lobby shop at retailer J.C. Penny Company for the Washington office of travel tech company Sabre Corporation, where he will serve as senior director of government and external affairs. At J.C. Penny, he led its government relations strategy and, prior to that, worked for Rep. Sam Johnson (R-Texas).
• The American Council for Capital Formation has hired Tim Doyle as its vice president of policy. Before that, he served as senior counsel for the House Science Committee and as the staff director for the panel’s oversight subcommittee. Doyle also worked as a consultant for FTI Consulting.
• Prime Strategies, a new public affairs and government relations firm, has launched in New York and Washington. Adam Sharon, who most recently served as the communications director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will helm the firm’s Washington office. Prior to that, he worked on former Rep. Kendrick Meek’s (D-Fla.) unsuccessful Senate run. Cecilia Norat, who once served as the deputy general counsel for the American Insurance Group (AIG) during the financial crisis of 2008, will run the New York office.
• Kristina Wilcox, a vice president of Capitol Hill Consulting Group, has been named the executive director of the Women’s High-Tech Coalition.
