• Paul Rosen, who most recently served as chief of staff to former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, has joined Crowell & Moring as a partner in its Los Angeles office, where he will be keeping an eye on Washington matters.

• Ademola Oyefeso has been promoted to director of the legislative and political action department at the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, after serving as acting director. He held a similar role at the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, and has campaign experience. In March 2017, Oyefeso was appointed to serve on the Democratic National Committee’s Transition Advisory Committee.

{mosads}• Hogan Lovells hired Jason Hadges, who comes from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Office of Chief Counsel, as a partner in its pharmaceuticals and biotechnology regulatory practice. Hadges was a senior attorney in the DEA’s Diversion and Regulatory Litigation Section. 

• Sidley Austin adds Timothy Muris, a former Federal Trade Commission chairman, to its antitrust and competition practice, and Richard Alonso, a former Environmental Protection Agency official. He is coming from Environmental Strategies Group. 

• McDermott+Consulting, the healthcare lobbying and consulting arm of McDermott Will & Emery, hired Adaeze Enekwechi as a vice president. She previously directed the health programs at the Office of Management and Budget. 

• McGuireWoods Consulting promoted Mona Mohib to senior vice president. She serves as a member of both the federal public affairs group and the national multistate strategies team. She joined the firm in 2009. Prior to that, she had been the director of policy and communications at the Democratic Governors Association.  

• Stephen Spaulding will be rejoining Common Cause this month as chief of strategy and external relations. Prior to that, he served as special counsel to then-Federal Election Commission Commissioner Ann Ravel. 

• Michael Macleod-Ball, a former chief of staff at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has formed his own firm, 627 Consulting. It will specialize in management consulting and lobbying for nonprofits.
