Health care provider Elara Caring hired Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas to work on funding related to COVID-19, as well as health care regulatory and reimbursement issues regarding home health, hospice and behavioral health providers. Bruce Mehlman, former general counsel and policy director for the House Republican Conference, and David Castagnetti, former chief of staff to ex-Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.), will be among those working on the account.
The National Young Farmers Coalition hired Monument Advocacy to work on issues related to the government’s response to COVID-19. T.A. Hawks, former staff director for Republicans on the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, will be among those working on the account.
EyeCare Partners LLC hired Alston & Bird LLP to work on issues related to eye care and COVID-19. Jane Lucas, former special assistant in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs under President Trump, and Bob Siggins, former chief of staff to ex-Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D-N.D.), will work on the account.
