DoorDash Inc. hired D&P Creative Strategies to work on issues related to labor and unemployment, technology, consumers, food and restaurants, taxes and the gig economy. Ingrid Duran, former legislative assistant to ex-Rep. Gene Green (D-Texas), and Juan Rangel, former legislative assistant to Rep. Linda Sánchez (D-Calif.), will work on the account.

CORONAVIRUS RELIEF

Rapid Medical Supplies LLC hired Foley & Lardner LLP to work on COVID-19 issues and personal protective equipment distribution. Former Reps. Scott Klug (R-Wis.) and Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.) will work on the account.

The International Franchise Association hired Peck Madigan Jones to work on issues related to COVID-19 pandemic relief, labor, small business, trade and taxes. Ashli Palmer, former director of floor operations for House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.), and John Michael Gonzalez, former chief of staff to ex-Rep. Chris Bell (D-Texas), to work on the account.

HEALTH CARE

SQI Diagnostics, a medical technology manufacturer, hired Baker & Hostetler LLP to work on regulatory and reimbursement issues related to medical technology. Chris Jones, former chief of staff to ex-Rep. Mike Ferguson (R-N.J.), will work on the account.

Becton, Dickinson and Co. also hired Baker & Hostetler to work on regulatory and reimbursement policy issues related to federal health care programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. Jones will work on the account.

ENERGY

EOG Resources Inc., a natural gas production company, hired Cassidy & Associates to work on issues pertaining to energy development on federal lands. Kai Anderson, former deputy chief of staff to ex-Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.), and Russell Thomasson, former chief of staff to Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), will work on the account.

TECHNOLOGY

Atlantic Broadband hired Crossroads Strategies to work on issues related to broadband deployment. Jason Gleason, former chief of staff to Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.), and Salim Alameddin, former legislative aide to Rep. Will Hurd (R-Texas), will work on the account.
