Amazon.com Inc. hired TCH Group LLC to lobby on e-commerce, competition and broadband deployment. Michael Tongour, ex-chief of staff to former Senate Majority Whip Alan Simpson (R-Wyo.), will work on the account.

Intel Corp. hired H&M Strategies to lobby on issues related to semiconductor chip manufacturing and corporate taxes. Ralph Hellmann, former policy director for ex-Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), will work on the account.

TAXES

The National Federation of Independent Business hired Cornerstone Government Affairs to lobby on tax issues affecting small businesses. Todd Webster, former chief of staff to Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), will work on the account.

ENERGY

Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions hired Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP to lobby on clean energy and infrastructure. Robert Lehman, former chief of staff to Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), will work on the account.

NextEra Energy hired Owen Evans Ingols to lobby on energy project development. Adam Ingols, former Energy Department chief of staff in the George W. Bush administration, will work on the account.

Electrify America LLC hired Waxman Strategies to lobby on issues related to biogas under the Renewable Fuel Standard. Michael Goo, former Democratic chief counsel for energy and environment on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, will work on the account.

The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers hired Federal Street Strategies LLC to lobby on the Renewable Fuel Standard and other issues. Paul Brathwaite, former executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus, will work on the account.
