Chamber Hill Strategies hires new ‘political muscle’

Chamber Hill Strategies hired Jennifer Higgins, a seasoned healthcare lobbyist, to help expand its burgeoning bipartisan firm.

{mosads}Higgins, armed with a long history in the health sector, will serve as a principal. She has experience at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and most recently worked as a principal at Tauzin Consultants, a firm founded by former Rep. Billy Tauzin (R-La.).

Chamber Hill Strategies praised her experience and “political muscle” while announcing her hire on Thursday.

“Whether it’s talking to the C-suite or to Main Street, she knows the law, she knows the regulations and puts together some of the most creative strategies we’ve ever seen,” wrote Jennifer Bell, a co-founder and partner at the firm, in a statement.

Higgins has also served as a partner at Capitol Health Group, beginning a lobbying career working with the administration and on both sides of the aisle on Capitol Hill.

Chamber Hill Strategies was formed just more than one year ago by Bell – a former Senate Finance Committee staffer – and Michaela Sims, who worked for former Sens. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) and Bob Kerrey (D-Neb.).
