• Former Rep. Zack Space (D-Ohio) has joined Vorys Advisors LLC as principal. Space served in Congress from 2007 to 2011 and sat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee as well as a number of subcommittees. Before that, he worked for almost 20 years as an attorney at Space & Space Co., which he co-owned.

• Bracewell & Giuliani on Tuesday announced the creation of the Policy Resolution Group. The group will be a “separate business unit within the firm devoted to government relations and strategic communications.” The group has 13 members so far, including Scott Segal, Ed Krenik, Gene Godley and Michael Pate.

{mosads}• Aaron Cohen has been hired as a principal at Capitol Counsel. Most recently, he served as chief of staff for former Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.). Before that, Cohen worked for Kimbell & Associates as vice president of government and political affairs. His Capitol Hill experience also includes time as state liaison and policy adviser for  former Sen. Richard Bryan (D-Nev.).

• Amy Shank has joined Capitol Hill Consulting Group as vice president. Shank comes from the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, where she worked as oversight and investigations director under Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.). Before that, she worked as senior policy adviser under Enzi and as senior analyst on the Senate Budget Committee under former Sen. Don Nickles (R-Okla.).

• Julie Minerva has joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips as a managing director in the firm’s federal government affairs and public policy group. Minerva leaves her position as senior policy adviser at Holland & Knight. She has previous experience working on Capitol Hill for the late Rep. Robert Matsui (D-Calif.) as a legislative assistant.

• Deborah White has joined the Retail Industry Leaders Association as executive vice president and general counsel. White previously founded Regulatory Solutions and served as senior vice president and chief legal officer for the Food Marketing Institute. She has also practiced law at Keller and Heckman.
