Revolution Messaging adds American Bridge alum
Revolution Messaging, a left-leaning campaign advertising firm, has hired former Obama campaign and American Bridge alum Shauna Daly.
Daly will serve as a senior vice president at Revolution Messaging, the firm said on Tuesday.
{mosads}“Shauna is a known leader in progressive politics who will bring her cutting organizing skills and management experience to our ground-breaking full-service firm,” Scott Goodstein, the company’s founder and chief executive, said in a statement.
American Bridge 21st Century is a progressive political action group that produces opposition research often used in campaign advertisements. Daly worked as the group’s senior advisor.
“She built and led the country’s largest research and tracking operation, integrating video and new media into rapid response,” according to the release from Revolution.
Prior to her work at American Bridge, she was a member of President Obama’s campaign effort, and served as the deputy research director on the 2008 presidential campaign.
She also had two years of experience at the Democratic National Committee digging through the records of Republicans. But in 2007, on the Obama campaign, it was Daly who unearthed Democratic presidential contender John Edwards’s now-infamous $400 campaign haircuts, according to a report by Politico.
