• Don Green has been named a vice president at the Business Roundtable. In that role, he will oversee the group’s corporate governance committee and work to achieve its legislative and regulatory goals. Green previously served as a legislative director for Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and held senior positions in the offices of ex-Rep. John Linder (R-Ga.) and Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.).

• Mike Fulton will be joining the faculty at West Virginia University for its new public-affairs elective program, which will focus on topics such as the use of social media tools for advocacy, the impact of federal, state and local governments on constituencies, crisis management and public-reputation management. Fulton is the president of the Arnold Agency’s Washington office. Prior to that, he worked at GolinHarris and served as a congressional staffer.

{mosads}• Ike Brannon will join The R Street Institute as a senior fellow and director of research beginning on Dec. 1. He will concentrate on regulations, public health, environmental policy and entitlement reform. Brannon previously worked as the director of economic policy and the director of congressional relations at the American Action Forum and has served economic advisory roles with the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Republican Policy Committee. Brannon also worked as a senior adviser to Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) 2008 presidential campaign. 

• Michael Dimock will become the director of the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. He has been at Pew Research for 12 years and currently serves as associate director for research. Dimock has co-authored a number of research papers, including an examination of American political and social values and another that looked at presidential polling from the last several cycles.

• Jordan S. Weinstein became a partner at Barnes & Thornburg’s Washington office in the firm’s intellectual property department. Before that, he served as a partner at Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt. Weinstein concentrates on “counseling, licensing and litigation in U.S. and international trademark, copyright, unfair competition, Internet and high-technology matters.”
