Ed Cox joined Prime Policy Group from Capitol Hill, where he most recently served as a legislative policy adviser to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who leads the Senate Finance Committee.
Jon Hrobsky and Luke Johnson, who currently serve as policy directors, have been tapped to lead Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck‘s Energy, Environment and Resource Strategies (EERS) Group. Bill McGrath has previously joined the EERS group, after working as the staff director for the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Interior, Energy and Environment. Hrobsky formerly held senior roles at the Interior Department, and Johnson previously worked in high-level positions at the Bureau of Land Management.
Mayer Brown hired John McInerney as a counsel in its international trade practice. Before that, he served as chief counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance, which supports the International Trade Administration at the Commerce Department, from 2000 to 2017.
{mosads}Bully Pulpit Interactive hired Erica Stanley to help expand the firm’s strategic communications work, including leading campaigns for clients. Prior to that, Stanley worked at the National Partnership for Women and Families and led the organization’s marketing and communications. She has also worked at the Glover Park Group.
Brian Larkin joined the Internet Association as director of cloud policy after serving as a Brookings Institution fellow with the Senate Finance Committee. Also on his resume: serving as a policy adviser on digital services and cloud computing at the Commerce Department.
The American Bankers Association (ABA) has named Rob Engstrom to serve as its chief political strategist. He will oversee its political engagement, including its state grassroots operations and its political action committee. Engstrom will also continue to work for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he is a senior vice president and political director. He is also launching a consulting firm.
Avenue Strategies Global brought on Art Estopinan, former chief of staff to Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), as a partner after his nearly three-decades on Capitol Hill.
