Liptak most recently was vice president of government relations at the Travel Technology Association and previously served as an aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

Ashley Gunn joined cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase as public policy manager for legislative affairs. Gunn previously served as a senior adviser to Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.).

Ervin Graves Strategy Group, a lobbying firm run by former Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.), hired Amanda Kasper as a vice president. Kasper previously served as a senior adviser to former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler.

Ruth Demeter joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Global Energy Institute as senior director of policy. Demeter most recently led government relations at Peabody Energy and previously served as a legislative aide to Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.).

Japanese pharmaceutical firm Astellas Pharma Inc. named Akshai Datta as director of federal affairs. Datta previously ran government affairs for U.S. pharmaceutical company Viatris Inc. and was previously a senior legislative assistant to Rep. Ami Bera (D-Calif.).

Bob Bissen joined the National Head Start Association as director of government affairs. Bissen most recently was senior vice president at Cannae Policy Group and previously was a senior director at APCO Worldwide.
