Coffee or tea? Tea.

Favorite place to power-lunch? I don’t do a lot of power-lunching up here. I’m mostly on committee work. If I do, it’s usually at the Capitol Hill Club.

Favorite D.C. restaurant? Meiwah. The gentleman that owns it lived in my district at one time. He was a Vietnamese refugee that ended up in East Tennessee.

What’s a food you can’t live without?
I do like desserts. Oatmeal-raisin cookies. They sound healthy.

Sweet or salty? Sweet.

If you could invite five people to dinner (not loved ones), who would they be? I’m a tight-knit person. My close personal friends from Tennessee.

Favorite pig-out food? Barbecue, with that sauce — what is it, Carolina? Smoked sauce.
